Do You Know Jesus?
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
What We Believe

OUR FAITH PERSUASIONS

We are persuaded the Bible is verbally inspired and the promises of God are "Yes and Amen". (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; I Thess. 2:13; II Cor. 1:20)

We are persuaded the Godhead Trinity is comprised of three separate persons; namely, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. (John 1:1-2; John 1:14; John 15:26)

We are persuaded Jesus Christ who is the only begotten Son of the Father, was conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the virgin Mary. (John 3:16; Matt. 1:18; Matt. 1:20; Matt. 1:25)

We are persuaded Jesus Christ who is God manifested in the flesh, was crucified, buried and raised from the dead, ascended to heaven and today sits at the right hand of the Father as Intercessor. (John 1:14: John 19:18-19; Acts 1:9-11; Rom. 8:34)

We are persuaded by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned, the Father sent his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to provide mankind's only hope of redemption through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12-21)

We are persuaded repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins and upon repentance and confession with the mouth the Lord Jesus, and belief in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, man shall be saved. (Romans 3:23; Mark 1:15; II Peter 3:9; Romans 10:8-10)

We are persuaded the new birth, justification, regeneration and sanctification are wrought by faith in Jesus Christ and his shed blood on Calvary. (I Peter 1:23; Romans 5:1; Titus 3:5; I Thess. 5:23)

We are persuaded in water baptism by immersion subsequent to becoming a born-again believer in Jesus Christ thereby identifying with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection as a new creature in Christ Jesus. (Matt. 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:34-38)

We are persuaded Christians are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people and are called to live God's standard of holiness as His children. (I Peter 2:9; Lev. 20:7; Rev. 4:8)

We are persuaded in partaking of the sacraments of the Lord's Supper in remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ and through His suffering, the shedding of His precious blood and death He paid a ransom for us, His joint-heirs, releasing us from captivity in every area of our lives. (I Corinthians 11:23-26; Romans 8:4; Isaiah 53:4-5; Colossians 2:13-15)

We are persuaded in the baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. We are persuaded this filling with the Holy Ghost empowers believers for a victorious life and service, the gifts of the Holy Ghost, and is distinct from the experience of the new birth. (Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:49; John 1:29-34; Acts 2:4; I Cor. 12:1-31; Acts 19:2-6)

We are persuaded as believers we are given the privilege of investing into the Kingdom of God through the giving of tithes, offerings, giving to others and that Jesus provided our total prosperity at the cross of Calvary. (Mal. 3:10; Heb. 7:1-22; Mark 12:41-42; Matt. 25:35-40; II Cor. 8:9)

We are persuaded in the premillennial second coming of Jesus with the resurrection of the saints in the graves first and the catching away of the living saints with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and we will be with the Lord forever. (I Thess. 4:15-17)

We are persuaded in the eternal punishment for the wicked whose names are not written in the Book of Life because of their rejection of the redemptive work of Jesus on Calvary. (Mark 3:29; 2 Thess. 1:8, 9; Rev. 19:20; Rev. 20:10-15)

We are persuaded the Lord Jesus Christ will return with His Saints from heaven and rule and reign for one thousand years on earth. After this He will establish a new heaven and a new earth, the great city, holy Jerusalem, will descend out of heaven from God. (II Thess. 1:7; Rev. 20:1-7; Rev. 21)
