IS YOUR FAITH WINDOW "CLICKED" OPEN?
By Rev. Sharyn Culp
Inspired by the Holy Spirit

In this computer age we hear about this window and that window and another window being open. What I would like to ask you today is your faith window open? Have you "clicked on" to the Word of God and opened your faith window? What do I mean by that? Let's look at some scriptures concerning faith and examine the subject of faith further.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)

We know from this scripture that faith pleases God and that when we come to God we must BELIEVE that he is, and that He WILL reward us as we diligently seek him.

Webster's dictionary defines diligent as meaning: 1) persevering and careful in work; hardworking. 2) done with careful, steady effort; painstaking.

I believe if we are to be successful in our faith walk, we cannot seek God half-heartedly, we must put some Holy Ghost "gusto" into it and be relentless in our search of God and the truths found in His Word.

The Psalmist David said in Psalm 42:1-2 "As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?"

I believe as we seek God we are going to find the answer(s) to our situations.

"Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee."
    (Psalm 74:24-25)

"O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counselor?"
    (Romans 11:33-34)

Friend, the answer to your situation is always found in God, in the Word of God.
"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." (Psalm 107:20)

Let me encourage you to seek God for the revelation from His Word for you in your particular situation. Many times the Word of God for your particular situation will be impressed upon our Spirit so indelibly as you read the Word or perhaps, the Holy Spirit will speak the scripture directly to your spirit. He may speak it through a minister or a fellow-Christian. In whatever way God chooses to reveal to you His answer for your situation, once you have the answer, claim it and stand firm in faith. For sure, it will take some "bull-dog" tenacity as you exercise your faith keeping your faith window open until you see the full manifestation of the scripture(s), the answer, come to pass in the your life in the "natural" realm.

You may ask, how can I get my faith window open and how can I keep it open until I see the full manifestation of the scripture(s) come to pass in my situation?

1. "Click" open your faith window by receiving the Word of God that has been given you.

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when you pray, BELIEVE that ye RECEIVE them, and ye shall have them." (Mark 11:24)

Believing that you receive before you see the manifestation in the "natural" is a vital "key" to keeping your faith window open, wouldn't you agree? Simply, believe and receive by faith God will perform His word in your situation. Amen!

Let's keep your faith window open by believing and receiving you have the manifestation of the Word of God (your answer) before you see it in the natural!

2. Don't get fearful of what you see in the "natural" circumstances of your life.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." (I John 4:18)

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (II Timothy 1:7)

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." (Joshua 1:9)

3. Praise God out loud and in your heart even when the "natural" circumstances in your situation are adverse to what you are believing for.

"I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth." (Psalm 34:1)

"My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever." (Psalm 145:21)

"Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely." (Psalm 147:1)

Two of Satan's chief weapons he uses against the children of God are fear and discouragement. Be wise and don't take the bait. The very second you feel fear trying to come upon you, rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus and tell him, "God did not give me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (II Timothy 1:7)

When Satan attempts to discourage you, start praising God in your heart and out loud. Praise is one of OUR most important weapons we need to use against Satan.

Let's keep your faith window open by rebuking the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and praising Jesus in our hearts and out load every time Satan attempts to bring discouragement!

4. Confess the Word God has given you out loud.

"But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it." (Deut. 34:13)

"Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways." (Job 22:28)

First of all, you need to hear yourself say the Word of God out loud. Saying the Word of God reinforces you. As your own ears hear it, your faith is increased.

Secondly, if you will recall, when Jesus was in the wilderness, and Satan came to tempt Him, Jesus used the sword of the Spirit, the spoken Word of God, against him. If Jesus, the Son of God, utilized the spoken Word of God against Satan, which He did, how much more do we the children of God need to follow His example and use the spoken Word of God against Satan to defeat him. Every time you speak the Word of God out loud Satan hears it and knows you are standing in faith on Truth and he cannot win against you and keep you from procuring everything God has for you, a precious Child of God. Amen!

Let's keep your faith window open by confessing the Word of God out loud!

5. Pray in the Spirit.

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
    (Romans 8:26-28)

"Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts." (Zech. 4:6)

"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost." (Jude 20)

As you pray in your prayer language, keep in mind Satan cannot understand it; therefore, he cannot thwart what the Spirit is praying through you. It is in the Spirit the battles are won and the Holy Ghost knows how to win EVERY battle. It isn't your battle anyway, it is God's battle. Let Him fight it for you.

Praying in Spirit strengthens and encourages you.

Let's keep your faith window open by praying in the Spirit and allowing the Spirit of God to fight your battle, strengthen and encourage you. It will do your spirit, mind and soul good. I promise.

6. Plant a financial seed.

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." (Galatians 6:7-8)

"But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." (II Cor. 9:6-7)

Give a financial offering and when you give it, tell God for what purpose you are giving it. In other words, if you need a job, tell God you are making this offering in faith for Him to provide you with a job. If you need a healing, tell God you are making this offering in faith for Him to heal you. Release your faith in giving. God gave Jesus as a seed "offering" for you on Calvary.

Let's keep your faith window upon by planting a financial seed and releasing your faith to God for your manifestation!

7. Persevere, don't give up.

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9)

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)" (Hebrews 10:23)

"For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds." (Hebrews 12:3)

"Being confident of this very thing that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" (Phil. 1:6)

No matter how long it takes, no matter what the Enemy attempts to bring against you, no matter what the circumstances look like, persevere and don't give up. God is on your side, remember? You have the name of Jesus, the Word of God (spoken and written), you have the blood of Jesus and you have the yoke-destroying, burden-removing power of the Holy Ghost, the power of prayer, the power of praise, and financial seed planting ALL operating on your behalf in your situation. You are a child of the Most High God! Alleluia! Let His Majesty take you across the finish line. Jesus finished his course on Calvary for us and we have every benefit He bought and paid for operating in our blood covenant because He did. Praise God! Alleluia!

Let's keep your faith window open by persevering and not giving up! Let's cross the finish line and finish our course just as Jesus finished His course for us.

You say, Sister Sharyn, why is it so important to keep my faith window open? Why does it matter so much? Friend, you and I were put on this earth for a purpose. God made you special and there is no one else on this earth that can do the job God has given you, just you. Your part in the Kingdom of God is so important and it is my belief we have been put on this earth to accomplish His Kingdom come, His will be done as it is in heaven. It is vitally important you do YOUR part and not quit. There are many people who have never even heard about Jesus and His saving grace. There are many captives who need to be set free. There is MUCH work to be done before Jesus comes and raptures the church. I want you to stand before Jesus and give a good stewardship account of what He has given you to accomplish on the earth. I want Him to say to you, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:21)

You may be asking, What does this have to do with keeping my faith window open? To be sure, it takes faith to live the Christian life on this earth. It takes faith to fight discouragement and to fight quitting. It takes faith to praise God when things are not going like you would like them to in the "natural". It takes faith to love when you have been wronged. It takes faith to forgive others when you are hurting so badly you feel you will die from the heartache inside you. It takes faith to give money when you don't know from where the next meal is coming. It takes faith to keep going when you feel so bad in your body taking the next step hurts to your very core. It takes faith when your future is uncertain. It takes faith when you have just lost your job. It takes faith when you have lost someone dear to you to death's grave. It takes faith to not let go of the Word of God when all of Satan's kingdom is fighting you in what seems like every area of your life. FRIEND, IT TAKES FAITH TO LIVE!!! To be sure, you will need to keep your faith window open and apply these principles we have talked about today. I want you to fight the best fight of faith you can possibly fight against Satan and not give up one inch to him and his kingdom. I want His Majesty's best for you. I want you to see the full manifestation of God's Word come to pass in every area of your life as you are His Majesty's precious mouthpiece, His Majesty's precious hands, His Majesty's precious feet, His Majesty's precious eyes, His Majesty's precious reservoir of love, Child of God you belong to His Majesty. You are a "container" for His Majesty. I want you to be able to do the job you need to do for His Majesty and the only way you can do it is to walk by faith. Truly, as you walk the "faith walk" you CAN accomplish His Kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, and keep your faith window open. In faith, I know YOU CAN DO IT! His Majesty knows as you walk in faith YOU CAN DO IT TOO! Alleluia! Praise God!

Friend, now I would like to ask you another question. Have you received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? If not, I would like to invite you to "click" your faith window open and believe this scripture from the Word of God. It will be the most important 'window' you have ever "clicked" open I can assure you.

"For God so loved the world and gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish and have ever lasting life." (John 3:16)

Would you pray this prayer in your heart with me now? "Lord Jesus, I know you love me. I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I repent of my sins and ask you to forgive me and come into my heart as my Savior and Lord. I confess with my mouth you are Lord, Jesus, and believe in my heart God has raised you from the dead. Thank you for shedding your blood for me at Calvary and saving me. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen."

Rejoice now! You are a child of His Majesty and you have a new start in life! Welcome to the family of God!

Let me encourage you to be baptized and join a Bible believing, Bible preaching church and continue to leave your faith window open for God to accomplish His Kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven in every area of your life! You are a King's Kid! Praise God! Alleluia!
