ARE YOU DISCOURAGED?
By Sharyn Culp
(Inspired by the Holy Spirit)

Friend, if you are discouraged, let me encourage you to take heart, let your heart meditate on the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to minister encouragement to you.
    "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 5:4)
God has not brought you this far in your journey with Him to let you down. Know in your heart if you will not faint (quit), you shall reap in due season.
    "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." (I Tim. 6:12)
Friend, we must fight the good fight of faith and never let our shield of faith down whereby we may be able to quench the fiery darts of the Enemy. God has given us every thing we need to fight this fight of faith, the full armor of God, the Word of God, the supernatural power of the blood of Jesus and the Yoke-destroying, burden-removing power of the Holy Ghost.
    "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
    Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
    For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
    Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
    Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
    And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
    Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
    And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
    Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"
    (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Friend, God has already won the battles in your life for you through Jesus’ death on the cross. We do not serve a dead, powerless God.
    "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it." (Colossians 2:15)
Jesus defeated every principality, every power, every ruler of darkness and every spiritual wickedness on Calvary. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for you and for me.
    "Wherefore he is able also to save them (that is us, Friend) to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25)
Friend, if you don’t know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, won’t you make this Thanksgiving Season special for His Majesty, and pray this prayer in your heart?

"Lord Jesus, I know you love me. I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I repent of my sins and ask you to forgive me and come into my heart as my Savior and Lord. I confess with my mouth you are Lord Jesus and believe in my heart God has raised you from the dead. Thank you for shedding your blood for me at Calvary and saving me. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen."

Rejoice now! You are a child of His Majesty and you have a new start in life! Welcome to the family of God!
