Tribulation
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have (perfect) peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer (take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted)! For I have
overcome the world, (I have deprived it of power to harm you
and have conquered it for you.)”
(Amp. John 16:33)

Precious One, it is such a blessing to share God’s Word with you today. How good and faithful His Majesty is to us, His King's Kids. We need to remind ourselves often of the fact that we truly are King's Kids, especially when we are experiencing tribulation. Did I say tribulation? Yes, I did, and since it is inevitable we are going to experience tribulation, let look at exactly what the word "tribulation" means.
Webster's dictionary defines tribulation as meaning "distress or suffering resulting from oppression or persecution, a trying experience." Further research in the Greek gives us definitions meaning: affliction, trouble, anguish, persecution, burdened, a pressing, pressing together, pressure, straits." As I pen this writing, I believe with all my heart many of you are experiencing "tribulation" in your lives, I believe you are in an uncomfortable place in your lives, but, Precious One, I have come with "good news" and the "good news" is "be of good cheer (take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted)! For I have overcome the world, (I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you." (Amp. John 16:33) Amen.
How does the Word of God tell us, His King's Kids, to face tribulation?
"Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.
Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.
But let endurance and steadfastedness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be (people) perfectly and fully developed (with no defects), lacking in nothing." (Amp., James 1:2-4)
I believe if we keep the right heart's attitude, instead of complaining and getting into self-pity, and allow the Word of God, the Source of our Joy, do a work within us and grow us through the stretching and pain, we can become more established in the faith, rooted and grounded in the love of God and come into a fuller stature of Christ. (Eph. 3:17; Eph. 4:13; Col. 2:7)
We need to look at the "big picture". We need to consider what His Majesty is attempting to accomplish in our lives through this "tribulation". What fruit is the work that the "tribulation" is producing in our lives going to yield not only to our good but to the good of others His Majesty brings into our lives? Who better can encourage someone else than someone who has been through the same or a similar tribulation?
"Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ". (II Corinthians 1:4-5)
While we are "going through to the other side" of the tribulation, we need to also remind ourselves often that the "tribulation" is not going to last forever. There will be an end to it and there will be victory if we keep the faith and do things His Majesty's way.
"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." (II Corinthians 4:17-18)
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." (Romans 8:35, 37)
Precious One, take the hand of His Majesty, let Him lovingly walk you through this tribulation and allow Him to do what He does best in our lives, love us and show out in our lives for His glory! Let's make Him proud of us! Amen. Amen. Amen.
We love you, appreciate you and are praying for you, your family and your ministry and covet your continuous prayers for us and for every prayer petition received here at HMM. We welcome your praise reports and prayer requests at anytime!
His Majesty is our win in 2010! His Majesty loves you! See you in the Spirit...
