Sharing with Sharyn: Persevere
By Sharyn Culp
(Inspired by the Holy Spirit)

Persevere
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so
great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight,
and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run
with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right
hand of the throne of God.
For consider him that endured such contradiction of
sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in
your minds.
(Hebrews 12:1-3)

Greetings to you in the name of His Majesty!

Isn’t it exciting! We have a brand new year ahead of us! We have a brand new year ahead of us that is unless Jesus comes to get us and if He does, we will for sure be doing us some celebrating. Amen. I don’t know about you but I for one am so looking forward to this new year – 2010! With all my heart I am believing 2010 will be fine! I didn’t say I am looking forward to a perfect year but let’s face it, when we live in the Spirit the flaws of this imperfect world fade and fade and fade more and more as we keep our focus on the Author and Finisher of our faith – Jesus! You and I both know in our hearts where victory and joy really are . . . they are in the presence of Jesus.
    "Thou wilt shew me the path of life; in thy presence is fulness of joy;
    at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
    (Psalm 16:11)
You say, Prophetess Sharyn, right now the flaws of this imperfect world are not fading for me and in my life’s circumstances I am really struggling. Take heart, Beloved, His Majesty loves you and has a custom plan for your life (Je. 29:11). His plan will work and carry you through to the other side of victory if you will but seek Him and be obedient. Amen again!

Beloved, there is a word the Holy Spirit has given me to share with you. The word is "persevere". That’s right. Persevere. Let’s take a look at it. Webster’s defines the word persevere to mean to persist in a state enterprise or undertaking in spite of counter influences, opposition or discouragement. I want to encourage you and tell you that the fact that you are struggling and facing challenges has come as no surprise to His Majesty! He knows you are hurting and exactly where you are in the midst of your "mess". Remember another important fact, out of the biggest "messes" come the biggest miracles. We serve a God who can turn any difficulty to our good and is the Chief Expert at doing so. We serve a BIG God. We serve a God that can do anything but fail. We serve a God who gave us Jesus, His only Son, as our "Waymaker". Why don’t you make a quality decision to persevere in spite of those counter influences, opposition or discouragement? Why don’t you make the quality decision to give your "battle mess" to His Majesty and allow Him to fight it for you? It is too big for you to fight. The pressure is too much. It is not your battle anyway . . . it truly belongs to His Majesty as He is your Father and you are a King’s Kid.
    "Ye shall not need to fight in this battle; set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them; for the Lord will be with you." (II Chronicles 20:17)
Seek His Majesty and persevere. You heard me Beloved . . . Persevere. Keep your eyes on His Majesty and keep right on being faithful to Him in spite of counter influences, opposition or discouragement. When you have even the slightest thought come across your mind about how hard you are struggling, how much you are hurting and how you are not going to make it, let me encourage you to be a doer of the Word of God and do what the Word of God says.
    "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through
    God to the pulling down of strong holds;
    Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself
    against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every
    thought to the obedience of Christ."
    (II Corinthians 10:4-5)

    "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
    And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
    (Philippians 4:6)
I believe with all my heart as you apply these principles from the Word of God in the midst of your "mess", you will be encouraged and inspired to indeed persevere with fresh anointing and Holy Ghost "gusto". Truly, God’s Word never fails and truly 2010 can and will be "fine" in the mightiest way as we allow His Majesty to strengthen us and fight our battles for us as we persevere in Him. For the love of Jesus, I exhort you to persevere. What if Jesus had quit in the face of counter influences, opposition and resistance? What if Jesus had quit in the face of betrayal? What if Jesus had quit in the face of physical pain? What if Jesus had quit in the face of mental anguish? Is it too much to ask of ourselves to persevere for Him and allow our lives to be "victory lights" for Him in this world considering all the persevering He did for us? Think about it, persevere and have a most-blessed 2010. 2010 will be fine!

We love you, appreciate you and are praying for each of you. We would love to hear from you! Why don’t you send us an email or note and let us know how you are doing. We care. As always, remember you are welcome to send us your praise reports and prayer requests anytime. All prayer requests are confidential!

His Majesty loves you! See you in the Spirit...
