Joy
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust,
and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my
strength and my song; he also is become my
salvation.
Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of
the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:2,3)

Greetings to you in the name of His Majesty!
It’s the Christmas season and I want to ask you an important question. What is your "joy thermostat" registering? Are you staying full of the joy of the Lord? That’s wonderful! Are you stressing out over all the Season’s activities and demands? Are you entertaining fear thoughts with all the "bad" economic reports and life’s adverse circumstances? If so, let me encourage you to pull yourself up by the bootstraps, grab hold of the Word of God containing all His promises to take care of you, release your faith, and watch your "joy thermostat" rise.
Let me share some "joy" thoughts and "joy" scriptures with you. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly so whatever your "joy thermostat" is registering, be assured Jesus wants you to stay in a "joy mode" and enjoy the abundant life He came to give you. He is your Joy, your Salvation and your Source.
"These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you,
and that your joy might be full." (John 15:11)
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I came that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly." (John 10:10)
Jesus wants us to know who we are in Him and not bow our "joy mode" to all the earthly circumstances of this "temporal" life. He wants us to position ourselves in the Word, in Him, and realize we are King’s Kids, children of the Most High God because of what Jesus did for us on Calvary. Come on now and get your heart and mind on who you really are and the price that has been paid on Calvary for you to have an abundant life. Our journey on this earth is as a "temporary" citizen . . . Jesus has blessed us with all spiritual blessing in heavenly places.
"For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also
of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." (Acts 17:28)
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath
blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."
(Eph. 1:3)
The Word of God admonishes us to be renewed in the spirit of our mind and to keep our thought life focused on good things.
"And be renewed in the spirit of your mind." (Eph. 4:23)
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are
honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if
there be any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4:8)
Speaking of good things, our blessed Savour, Jesus, came to earth and was born of a virgin in a manger, in a lowly stable, just for you and just for me. My heart is so full of joy and thanksgiving in celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savour, the Messiah. How much more love could He have shown us than by leaving heaven, coming to this earth and living here for 33 years, and allowing Himself to be crucified on an old, rugged cross in order to set us, the captives free. Our precious Jesus set us free from sin, free from lack, free from poverty, free from sickness and disease, free from curses, bondages, assignments from the Enemy, and every captivity. He broke every chain for us on Calvary. Just think, had He never been born, none of this would have ever come to pass for us. We would have no reason to be filled with His joy. Amen.
"And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them
openly, triumphing over them in it." (Colossians 2:15)
Let’s give His Majesty a special gift for Christmas this year. Let’s allow our hearts to be filled with His joy and our "joy thermostat" to rise to the top in appreciation of all Jesus has done for us.
We love you, appreciate you, and are praying for you.
Merry Christmas!
His Majesty loves you!
