I Love You, Sweetheart
By Sharyn Culp

Let’s face it. Love is big. Love is really, really, really huge. Instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day, I personally like to celebrate what I call "Love Day". With so much emphasis being put on love, the sweetheart kind of love between couples, I would like to reflect on the highest form of love I believe there is. I am not saying we shouldn't honor one another with love, because I believe we are commanded to do so, but I am saying we should most assuredly honor His Majesty first with our love on "Love Day" as well as every other day. I would like for us to reflect on what Jesus our Lord and Savior has done for us and what He means to us personally. I believe with all my heart He should be our first "Sweetheart" and I believe with all of my heart His Majesty's children are His special sweethearts. We truly are the apples of His eye. With that thought in mind I would also like for us to give some thought to how much He really loves us. I would like for us to think about the fact that He loved us enough to die for us. My friends, that is huge. With that thought in mind I believe "Love Day" and every day are great days to really do some "His Majesty" loving, giving Him our hearts full of love and also for showing others the love He has put in our hearts for them.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."
    (John 13:34-35)
Do you think you could "in love" do something else for His Majesty? Do you think as the Holy Spirit leads you that you could share Jesus with someone who doesn’t know of His saving grace and love? Many are truly hurting in this sin sick world and many unfortunately are not bound for heaven, they are bound for an eternity to be spent in hell. What about witnessing salvation through Jesus Christ to the person at work who is always making your life miserable? What about witnessing salvation through Jesus Christ to someone who has done something so bad to you that you have had a hard time forgiving him? What about witnessing salvation through Jesus Christ to someone who is so very close to your heart who has spoken some harmful, hurtful and cruel things to you? What about witnessing salvation through Jesus Christ to someone who is difficult to love and for the most part "a rejected" in this world? Jesus died for all of us so we could be saved if we will but only repent of our sins, receive Him as our personal Savior and ask Him to be the Lord of our lives.
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." (Matthew 5:44)

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved."
    (Romans 10:9-13)

"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." (Romans 5:5)
Think about it, after all, His Majesty is the originator of love. Without Him, there would be no real love, as here I am speaking about unconditional love, everlasting love, love without end. The God kind of love that keeps loving, giving and forgiving no matter what takes place in our lives and relationships. I place a high value on unconditional, everlasting love, love that will endure and last throughout eternity. Obviously, Jesus did also. Friend, keep in mind in obedience to His Majesty, Jesus took the heartache of every person ever born upon Himself. He paid the price for every person to be saved, healed, delivered and set free in the name of Jesus. Isn’t that huge? I personally would just like to take this opportunity to say "thank you, Jesus", and "I love you, Sweetheart". How about you? His Majesty loves you!
