I was meditating today on what an amazing healing Jesus we serve. One thing about Jesus, when a person ask Jesus to heal him, Jesus was willing. That’s a comforting thought, isn’t it? Jesus is willing to heal us when Satan attacks us with an infirmity.

Look’s look at some of the people Jesus healed in the scriptures:

1) Jesus Healed The Leper
    And behold, a leper came up to Him and, prostrating himself, worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, you are able to cleanse me by curing me. And He reached out his hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed. And Jesus said to him, See that you tell nothing about this to anyone but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, for a testimony (to your healing) and as an evidence to the people. (Matthew 8:2-4)
Notice, when the leper said to Jesus, "Lord, if You are willing, you are able to cleanse me by curing me." Jesus reached out his hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing." Jesus willingly reached out his hand and healed the leper.

2) Jesus Healed the Centurion’s Servant Boy
    As Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came up to Him, begging Him,
    And saying, Lord, my servant boy is lying at the house paralyzed and distressed with intense pains. And Jesus said to him, I will come and restore him.
    But the centurion replied to Him, Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have you come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured.
    For I am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it.
    When Jesus heard him, He marveled and said to those who followed Him (who adhered steadfastly to Him, conforming to His example in living and if need be, in dying also), I tell you truly, I have not found so much faith as this with anyone, even in Israel.
    I tell you, many will come from east and west, and will sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven...
    While the sons and heirs of the kingdom will be driven out into the darkness outside, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
    Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed, And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment. (Matthew 8:5-13)
Notice, when the centurion came to Jesus begging him telling him about his servant boy who was lying at the house paralyzed and distressed with intense pains, Jesus said to him, I will come and restore him. Then to the centurion Jesus said, Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed, And the servant boy was restored to health at that very moment. Jesus willingly restored health to the centurion’s servant boy.

3) Jesus Healed The Woman Who Had Suffered From a Flow of Blood For Twelve Years
    And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment;
    For she kept saying to herself, If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.
    Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health. (Matthew 9:20-22)
Again, Jesus willingly healed the woman who had been afflicted with a flow of blood for twelve years. "Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health." (Matthew 9:22)

4) Jesus Healed The Blind Men
    As Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting loudly, Have pity and mercy on us, Son of David!
    When He reached the house and went in, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.
    Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance (On the power invested in Me) be it done to you;
    And their eyes were opened. And Jesus earnestly and sternly charged them, See that you let no one know about this. (Matthew 9:27-30)
Again, Jesus, when seeing they had faith and trusted Him, touched their eyes and said, be it done to you; and their eyes were opened. (They were healed of their blindness). Again, Jesus willingly healed the men of their blindness.

5) Jesus Healed Simon’s Mother-in-Law of A Fever
    Now Simon’s mother-in-law had for some time been lying sick with a fever, and at once they told Him about her.
    And He went up to her and took her by the hand and raised her up; and the fever left her, and she began to wait on them. (Mark 1:30-31)
Again, when Jesus learned of Simon’s mother-in-law lying sick with a fever, He willingly went up to her, took her by the hand and raised her up and the fever left her, and she began to wait on them. Jesus willingly heal Simon’s mother-in-law of her fever.

6) Jesus Healed The Man With The Withered Hand Again Jesus went into a synagogue, and a man was there who had one withered hand (as the result of accident or disease). And (the Pharisees) kept watching Jesus (closely) to see whether He would cure him on the Sabbath, so that they might get a charge to bring against Him (formally). And He said to the man who had the withered hand, Get up (and stand here) in the midst. And He said to them, Is it lawful and right on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to take it? But they kept silence. And He glanced around at them with vexation and anger, grieved at the hardening of their hearts, and said to the man, Hold out your hand, He held it out, and his hand was (completely) restored. (Mark 3:1-5) Again, Jesus said to the man, Hold out your hand, he held it out, and his hand was (completely) restored. Jesus willingly healed the man of a withered hand even knowing the Pharisees would oppose Him for healing the man on the Sabbath.

7) Jesus Healed The Man Of An Unclean Spirit
    And as soon as He got out of the boat, there met Him out of the tombs a man (under the power ) of an unclean spirit.
    This man continually lived among the tombs, and no one could subdue him any more, even with a chain;
    For he had been bound often with shackles for the feet and handcuffs, but the handcuffs of (light) chains he wrenched apart, and the shackles he rubbed and ground together and broke in pieces; and no one had strength enough to restrain or tame him.
    Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always shrieking and screaming and beating and bruising and cutting himself with stones.
    And when from a distance he saw Jesus, he ran and fell on his knees before Him in homage.
    And crying out with a loud voice, he said, what have You to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? (What is there in common between us?) I solemnly implore you by God, do not begin to torment me?
    For Jesus was commanding, Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!
    And He asked him, What is your name? He replied, My name is Legion, for we are many.
    And he kept begging Him urgently not to send them (himself and the other demons) away out of that region. Now a great herd of hogs was grazing there on the hillside.
    And the demons begged Him, saying, Send us to the hogs, that we may go unto them!
    So He gave them permission. And the unclean spirit came out (of the man) and entered into the hogs; and the herd, numbering about 2,000 rushed headlong down the steep slope into the sea and were drowned in the sea.
    The hog feeders ran away, and told (it) in the town and in the country. And the people came to see what it was that had taken place,
    And they came to Jesus and looked intently and searchingly at the man who had been a demoniac, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, (the same man) who had had the legion (of demons); and they were seized with alarm and struck with fear.
    And those who had seen it related in full what had happened to the man possessed by demons and to the hogs. (Mark 5:2-16)
Again, Jesus commanded, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!" And they came to Jesus and looked intently and searchingly at the man who had been a demoniac, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, (the same man) who had had the legion (of demons); and they were seized with alarm and struck with fear. Jesus willingly commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man, and witnesses ran away, told it, and people came to see what had taken place coming to Jesus and looking intently and searchingly at the man who had been a demoniac, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, (the same man) who had had the legion (of demons). Jesus willingly commanded the unclean spirit to depart from the man and he was healed and made whole, restored to his right mind.

There are many other healings performed by Jesus in the Holy Scriptures but undoubtedly, we can see from these few aforementioned documentations, Jesus truly is willing to heal us of our infirmities.
    He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him.
    Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains (of punishment), yet we (ignorantly) considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God (as if with leprosy).
    But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement (needful to obtain) peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes (that wounded ) Him we are healed and made whole. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Amplified Version)
Friend, I am believing as you meditate on these scriptures as I did, you too will be encouraged in your faith walk with His Majesty. You will truly believe Jesus is willing to heal you and you will release your faith to be healed. Will you allow me to pray with you and believe with you for your healing?

Arise (from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you – rise to a new life)! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! (Isaiah 60:1) Rise and be healed in the mighty name of Jesus!
