Sharing With Sharyn

Battles

By Sharyn Culp
Inspired by Holy Spirit

            "Ye shall not need to fight in this battle; set yourselves, stand ye still
               and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem;
                fear not, not be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them; for the Lord
   will be with you.
   Joshosaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground; and all
   Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping
   the Lord (II Chronicles 20;17-18).
   "Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his
   prophets, so shall ye prosper (II Chronicles 20:20b)

Precious Ones, once again it is our privilege and blessing to speak "good news" into your lives. What an opportunity His Majesty has given us to "share our hearts" with you. Bless all of you Precious Ones who are willing to take the time and listen to what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. Thank you from the bottom our big Texas hearts! Amen.

Without a doubt we know many of you are experiencing the "heat of the battle or battles" in your lives. We hear the news just like you do and also receive many distressful  prayer petitions here at HMM. We can feel the pain of Israel, America, the nations, the body of Christ, every HMM Intercessor, his/her loved ones and every prayer petition received here at HMM.  The "good news" is we also know His Majesty's fervent heartbeat of love for us all. He wants to encourage us all today. Take heart, dear Precious Ones. His Majesty is on the throne and is still in control. You may say, "it doesn't look like He is on the throne from the "looks" of my situation and the circumstances in the world and "it surely doesn't seem like He is in control".  What's that got to do with it? Pull yourself up by the boot straps, get your Bible and read, Hebrews 10:38, 39, Hebrews 11:1 and look through your eyes of faith.

                      "Now the just shall live by faith; but if any man draw back, my soul shall have

         no pleasure to him.

                      But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe
                      to the saving of the soul" (Hebrews 10:38, 39).
                      "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"
                      (Hebrews 11:1)

             Precious Ones, there is nothing happening in "our" world personally or in "our" world globally that is not in your Bible. There is a whole lot of shaking going on!

                    "For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while and I will shake

                     the heavens and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land.

        And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will
        fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts" (Haggai 2:6-7)
       "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ and shall deceive many.
        And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled; for
        all these things must come to pass,  but the end is not yet.
        For nations shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there
        shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."
        All these are the beginning of sorrows (Matthew 24:5-8).
       "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come,
        For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
        Blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
        Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce,
        despisers of those that are good,
        Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
        Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away;
        (II Timothy 3:1-5)

   It is easy to identify what is going on our "worlds" with we read the aforementioned scriptures, isn't it? To be sure, when we read the Bible, it doesn't take us long to understand why there is so much unrest and tribulation in the world. If you are being mistreated and experiencing warfare, look at the behavoir in light of the scriptures and ask yourself, "Could this be persecution I am experiencing?" Precious Ones, keep in mind these are spiritual battles we are "seeing" manifested in the natural realm. It is impossible for God to lie (Heb. 6:18). His Word is settled in heaven forever (Ps. 119:89). We would suggest you read the entire chapter of Matthew 24 as we only enumerated some of the scripture references due to space available in this writing.
  You may now be saying, "Prophetess Sharyn, you said you have "good news" for us. What is it?  This only seems like "sad, bad news."

  Precious Ones, here's the "good news". Praise God, we have weapons to use against Satan, the enemy. Hallelujah! Satan is the one who is really behind all this tribulation, hardship and persecution.  Let's return to the basics. Let's be sure we are where we need to be in God to insure we as the Bride of Christ walk triumphantly in these last days. This is our time! Our best days are yet to come! Look up! Look up! Lift up your heads! Our redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28).  Stand ye still and see the salvation of God! Amen.

1.       Repent and confess any sins. Forsake any disobedience and rebellion (Mark 1:15; I John 1:9; I Sam. 15:23).

2.       Praise and worship the Lord and keep your hearts pure, humble and sensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 50:23; I Peter 5:6; Eph. 4:30).

3.       Pray like you have never prayed before. Pray without ceasing (II Chron. 7:14; I Th. 5:17).

4.       Read, meditate, and decree the answers to your situations from the Word of God (Jos. 1:8; Job 22:28).

5.       Don't forsake the assembling of yourselves together. We need His Majesty and we need one another. Encouragement and edification are necessities (Heb. 10:25).

6.       Sanctify yourselves and fast (Joel 2:15-16; Isaiah 58:6-14).

7.       Witness. Follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit and be a witness for Jesus (Matt. 28:19-20; Rom. 8:14)

8.       Walk in love. Stay out of strife. It blocks the Holy Spirit from doing His work. (Ephesians 4:29-31; 5:1,2)

             Precious Ones, thank you for allowing us to share these gold nuggets from the Word. We love you, appreciate you and are uniting our faith and prayers with all the HMM Worldwide Prayer Sanctuary Intercessors for you, your families, your churches/ministries and your prayer petitions! "Hang in there! We are the triumphant Bride of Christ! (Rom. 8:37;I Co. 15:52-58;) Amen.
             2012 is the year to delve into the blessings of His Majesty!  His Majesty loves you! See you in the Spirit . .
